Shake ‘Em Up Bartending has handled nearly every type of event imaginable including but not limited to: weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, holiday parties, fraternity/sorority events, album release parties, art exhibits, political meet & greets, fundraisers, fantasy football drafts, quinceañeras, sweet 16’s, and everything in between you can think of.

We do not have “predetermined” service packages as you may see elsewhere. Shake ‘Em Up Bartending believes that each event has specific needs and they cannot be met by cookie-cutter services.

We will consult with you from your event’s inception to ensure that we customize our services to your event, and not the other way around.

It depends. Based on our custom assessment to your event, we will consult on what will be provided by Shake ‘Em Up Bartending and effectively what your costs will be.

As a standard rule, you can expect $15-25 per guest for a fully-hosted bar (all supplies provided by Shake ‘Em Up Bartending).

If you as the Client are providing all supplies and need strictly bartending labor (along with bartending tools), our fee ranges $32-$40 per hour per bartender with a 5-hour time block. The necessary number of bartenders will be determined upon consultation.

There is a wide range due to different number of guests, labor involved, quality of menu selection, hours of event, location, etc. It is for this reason that it is best to provide us with as much details to your event so that we can assess your exact needs and keep everything within your budget.

This is a commonly asked question which unfortunately has been mistakenly used in common language. There is no such thing as a bartending “license” issued by any state agency. There is no licensing program or requirements for a bartender to fulfill in order to receive such licensing. There are schools and programs which offer “certification” and provide bartending education but they are strictly for knowledge and know-how.

All of Shake ‘Em Up Bartending has been CA State Certified as responsible servers and we can provide endorsement. All our bartenders have valid TIPS Certification and we all keep up on our continued education in responsible alcohol serving.

Shake ‘Em Up Bartending carries Full LIQUOR Liability insurance for your event and can provide the appropriate Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request. The industry standard coverage is $1 Million per occurrence and $2 Million in aggregate, but we can provide higher if needed and upon agreement.

Upon request, we will also provide a COI to name various entities, properties, or persons as Additionally Insured parties which will give coverage status as needed.

We do not automatically include gratuity in the price. We can if you would like us to avoid from having guests provide gratuity (if they so desire) through tip jars.

We will truly distinguish your event from the rest. We strive in setting ourselves apart from just “bartenders for hire”, we want to provide the personality that binds an event and brings everyone together to enjoy themselves while at your event.

We interact and engage your guests as an extension of the hosts, we love to provide cocktail suggestions that are new for people, and most importantly we provide you with peace of mind that your event’s bar will flow smoothly and without any needed effort on your part.
